Concert season is here! Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. Partly because the seasons are chancing and the holidays are approaching, but the main reason is all of the amazing live music that takes place. It seems like this time every year, there isn't a weekend that goes by without a must-see concert.
I have gathered my top picks of essential shows in San Francisco this fall. Enjoy!
HARDLY STRICTLY BLUEGRASS
Hardly Strictly Bluegrass kicks off concert season in San Francisco, and I'm not mad about it. I look forward to this festival every year, and the 2016 lineup gives us so much to be excited about. There are so many artists that I'm looking forward to seeing that HSB deserves its own post. In the meantime, listen to a few of the artists that I definitely won't miss this year in Golden Gate Park.

TREASURE ISLAND MUSIC FESTIVAL
Along with Outside Lands and Hardly Strictly, Treasure Island completes the trio of quintessential San Francisco music festivals. 2016 marks the 10th year for TIMF, but its cornerstone anniversary is not the only reason to go ahead and buy your tickets. This will be the last year that the festival takes place on the Island (you know, the one it's named after). The festival will relocate in 2017, so this will be your last chance to enjoy the island breeze - or more like intense Bay winds.
Treasure Island, California
If you don't make it to the Island for the festival, there's no need for FOMO. There will be Night Shows around the city all weekend long.
